![]() 06/06/58-1/13/14 AMVETS Riders Chapter 113 Florida Department of Florida Amvets Riders President Branch of Service: Navy Chuck loved the Amvets Riders and had a passion for helping the Department of Florida become better and stronger than ever before. He worked diligently to build a strong relationship between the Amvets and the Riders, and dedicated his whole heart and soul to the success of the Amvets Riders organization. Chuck’s unwavering passion and drive were evident to all who knew him. During his brief time as president, his strong leadership did much to move the Department of Florida Amvets Riders forward. For that we will always be grateful.

Post 409, Gowanda, New York AMVET ![]() January 29, 1941 - November 10, 2013 "Gary Edward Hayman retired from the US Army as First Sergeant after 27 years of service, and additionally served with the Michigan and Florida National Guards. Gary had twice been AMVETS Post FL86 Commander (1997-1999 and 2012-2013) and formed AMVETS Riders Chapter FL86 in Keystone Heights, FL. He served as AMVETS Dept. of FL Chairman of the ROTC and Honor Guard Committees. Gary was a devoted military man instrumental in the JROTC programs in Interlachen and Keystone Heights, FL; member of VFW Post 8255 in Middleburg, FL and of the Patriot Guard. As a civilian, Gary served with the Miami, FL Police Department for 21 years, followed by the Putnam County, FL Sheriff's Dept." ![]() Member of Florida Chapter 2 February 13, 1959-July 25, 2013 Liz was a member of AMVETS Riders Chapter 2, Edgewater, FL. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her beloved husband, Bob Eiss. Liz was a valuable asset to the Riders, giving countless hours of her time to solicit donations from local businesses for charity poker runs. He was an Old School Biker, and had adjusted to the world of motorcycle groups without loosing his passion for what was right and wrong. He truly lived Loyalty, Respect, and Brotherhood it was a way of Life. He was a driving force behind the AMVETS Riders and never gave up on promoting the organization. He was an AMVET First and gave all he had for Veterans. Last ChapterThe AMVETS Riders would like to honor all those faithful Riders who have passed from this life to the next. Their voices and the the roar of their motorcycles have been stilled, but their names and faces are indelibly etched in our hearts and minds. Their passing has left a void that will never be filled, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to serve and ride alongside them. We were blessed to know them, and we pray that God will bless us to be reunited when it is our time to take the final ride.
