AMVETS Riders are members of the AMVETS family who share a passion for motorcycles, service, and supporting America’s veterans.

We organize benefit rides, fundraising events, community-service projects, veteran outreach programs, and patriotic ceremonies that honor those who have served and remember those we have lost.

Our Riders assist veterans and military families in need, support local AMVETS Posts and Chapters, promote suicide-prevention awareness, participate in memorial and remembrance events, and help strengthen the communities where we live and ride.

Just as importantly, we create opportunities for Riders across the country to meet one another, visit different Chapters and states, share ideas, build lifelong friendships, and experience the brotherhood and sisterhood of the AMVETS Riders Nation.

Whether we are riding together, volunteering, raising funds, or standing beside a veteran during a difficult time, our purpose remains the same: to serve, honor, support, and ensure that no veteran or military family feels alone.

Our service does not end when the ride is over. As AMVETS Riders, we share a lifetime of service and remain a family for life.

AMVETS Riders Let’s Ride Passport

The 2026–2027 AMVETS Riders Let’s Ride Passport encourages Riders to get out, travel, make memories, and build brotherhood and sisterhood throughout the Rider Nation. Participants may travel by motorcycle or car while visiting participating AMVETS Riders Chapters and AMVETS Posts in their home state and across the country.

The 16-page Passport book contains space to record 32 visits. At each stop, an authorized Chapter or Post representative may sign the book or use the optional official Passport stamper. A stamper is not required, and homemade stampers are not permitted.

The physical Passport book is the Rider’s official record for award eligibility and must be kept throughout the program. Riders can earn certificates for visiting every participating Chapter in their home state, visiting the most states, and recording the highest verified mileage. The Top Rider—based on verified state and Chapter visits—will receive a certificate, three paid convention hotel nights, and a $200 Visa travel card. Riders may also find an eligible bonus ticket outside their home state and receive credit for five additional stops.

The Passport challenge runs from October 25, 2026, through July 1, 2027.
